A Place for Healing and Journey

About Me

As a healer residing in the Twin Cities of Minnesota, I have experienced in my healing path that the pulse of the Earth is real, and that a daydream is true connection to the soul. The veil through which we daydream is not only as touchable to us as the physical world we live in, but as much as part of our whole being. I learned that my earlier experiences as a child were my first shamanic journeys, that I was born into an energy of healing, one that I continue to explore, and wish to share with you.

As a child, growing up in the woods of Grand Marais, MN along Lake Superior, I knew at a very young age that there was life and memory in my surroundings. I recall sitting on the granite rocks, feeling the birch trees breathe, and a pulse within the Earth. I could sense the vibration of footsteps of people who had been there long before me. Staring up from a snowbank at the winter sky, I wondered if someone far away was looking back at me. I gazed at animals, believing that I could feel their thoughts and dabbled with Tarot and supernatural energy. They called me a daydreamer.

At age fifteen, my oldest sister went off to college. (She was independent, and wise!) She returned home for Chrismas and gifted me with my first and favorite Tarot Deck. I was mesmerized by the imagery and the thought that in every card were images of “me”. This deck has been one of my most sacred lifelong tools for guidance and reflection. Oh, the stories it could tell! It reminded me of when we were young, we would wrap our heads in scarves, put our glitter bouncy ball on a scarved table and shine a flashlight through to make a crystal ball… we were fortune tellers! I was at home with these cards.

When I was nineteen I was off to college too when I lost a dear friend in a car accident. In grief, I spoke to him on the other side and asked for healing. Through divine gift, he led me to meet my first dog, a travel companion and best friend. I realized quickly that I could hear every thought, understand every vibration within her. It was Dookie who opened me to the true concept of unconditional love and spirit. She inspired me to volunteer at the animal shelter where I'd been blessed with her companionship, and to later learn Reiki for animals. Healing shelter animals taught me that the animals were talking, and they had a lot to say. From this experience, I decided to study animal communication with shaman and animal communicator Lena Swanson and offer healing services for animals.

I later expanded my healing practices to healing people when I studied shamanic techniques with a teacher and a Mayan healer from the Yucatan.  I studied to be a Reiki Master and learned shamanic techniques for energy healing, psychic surgery and meditative journey.  After years of exploration and study, I received my Reiki Master Teacher Certification with the Meta Institute.

I invite you to contact me if you are looking for guidance. Wherever you are on your path, know the answers and the light lie within you. We will find it.
